Burger with Köfte in Berlin style

Köfte Burger



  • 600 g minced lamb

  • 2 onions

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 bunch parsley

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin

  • 2 teaspoons paprika powder

  • 3 tablespoons ajvar (roasted red pepper sauce)

  • breadcrumbs, salt, pepper



Use a food processor and chop the vegetables. Put all the ingredients one by one in a bowl and mix. Add enough breadcrumbs to keep them soft. Take a handful of the mixture and shape into hamburger patties. Fry both sides of the patty in a frying pan or on the grill for an even more delicious flavour. Use the same way as you would for burgers.
