Crispy Tofu dating with orange

Orange-Chili Tofu



  • 300 g tofu

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 2 tsp cornstarch

Orange Sauce

  • 150 ml orange juice

  • 1 tbsp orange zest

  • 1 small chili

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp 5 spice mix

  • Salt and pepper for taste



Cut the tofu into medium cubes and fry in a little oil until crispy, then set aside. Mix the ingredients for the orange sauce in a bowl. In a small glass, dissolve the cornflour in a little water. Fry the garlic and chili slowly for a few minutes. Add the crispy tofu and the sauce mixture. Cook for a few minutes, then add the cornflour mixture, mix well. Cook for a few more minutes and it's done.

I recommend rice or bulgur.
