Turmeric Turnip bowl



  • 300 fresh turnip

  • 1 tbsp turmeric or fresh turmeric

  • pepper to taste

  • salt to taste

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 cup couscous

  • seed mix

  • 1 lime for taste (optional)



Peel and dice the turnips. Cook for about 15 minutes with salt and turmeric in enough water to cover. Slice the avocado and fry the seed mixture. Use the hot water from the turnips (1:1 ratio ) and pour over the couscous. Let stand under the lid for 5 minutes and you are ready to serve.
