Story

Have you ever thought about how cabbage is often overlooked in our culinary adventures? It's usually confined to sauerkraut or coleslaw, but there's so much more to this humble vegetable. Our knowledge of cabbage recipes might be limited, but that just means there's a world of possibilities waiting to be explored.

Red Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 red cabbage, cut into 4 wedges

Directions

  1. Place the cabbage wedges in a pot.

  2. Add honey, balsamic vinegar, a bit of salt, and butter to the pot.

  3. Add enough water to cover the cabbage and bring to a boil. Cook until half soft, about 20 minutes.

  4. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).

  5. Drain the cabbage and place the wedges in the air fryer basket.

  6. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the outside is crispy.

  7. Serve immediately.
